Care Instructions Your organic diapers will need to be prewashed 5-7 times in hot water with a bit of detergent in each load. Dry warm. Regular wash routine: Wash cold with 1/4 of the manufacturer’s recommended amount of additive free detergent. Wash hot with the same amount of detergent. Double rinse. Dry warm.

So when i saw the inserts stitched into the cover, all in one peice, I was super excited. However on using Elemental I find the organic cotton layer stays wet on the baby so the diaper doesn't really serve my purpose of all night use or even for long hours during the day. The other bigger difficulty with this diaper is drying it post washing, esp. in the monsoon season!! Took me a full 2 days to dry it even under the fan! The super absorbent layer retains wetness even after being spun in a washing machine! I guess this product makes more sense in USA where the machines have heat drying options built in.
