Shipping and Returns Policy
Shipping Policy 

Order of Rs. 3000 and above qualify for Free Shipping. All orders are shipped via air courier. An email with Specific tracking information for your order will be sent to the registered email address on your account once your packet is shipped.

Once your order is shipped you will receive a email confirmation along with your parcel tracking information.

Please do not accept the parcel, if found in tampered condition. Please contact us by email or phone.

In-stock orders placed by 2pm, Monday through Friday ship the next day. Orders placed after 2pm will ship on the 2nd business day. For example if you placed your order on Monday at 2pm it will ship on Tuesday. However, if you place it on Monday at 3pm it will ship on Wednesday.

Occasionally, there are circumstances beyond our control that may cause a delay with your order. If you have questions after checking your order status online, feel free to call us!

www.smartbaby.in ships all over India six days a week. Orders are not processed on Sundays or on National Holidays. Orders placed before 3:00PM IST on the same day are processed the next day. 

Orders above Rs. 3000 qualify for Free Shipping. 
Standard Shipping (3-10 days): This is the lowest shipping method and will reach most designations within 10 days. Delivery to metros can reach as fast as two to three days. If it is not a standard location then extra delivery charges will be applied. For certain remote geographies the time for deliveries may exceed 12 days. 
Once your order is shipped you will receive a email confirmation along with your parcel tracking information. 

Note: 
The above time lines do not apply for custom orders, special orders or pre-order bookings. The time line for each of these will be individually mentioned in the product description. If you require any assistance in understanding our Shipping policy please do not hesitate to give us a call. 

1.Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you would like to ship products to different addresses, you will need to place multiple orders. 

2.If you believe that the product is not in good condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and call us on 9944882229 or mail us at support@smartbaby.in, mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest. 

3.We may not be able to ship the products to certain parts of West Bengal, North East and J&K. Please contact customer service before you order. 

International Shipping: We do not offer international shipping options. Special requests can be handled with prior confirmations. Please contact customer service if you would like to ship internationally. 

Tracking Packages: If you have a tracking or delivery number, you can track your package by clicking our deliver partner links provided in your shipment confirmation email. If you did not receive email, please check your spam folder. Tracking may not appear online for upto 24-48 hours in some cases, so please wait until the shipper scans your package. 

If you're not sure whether your order has been shipped, check the status of your recent orders in My Account. 

Non Availability on Delivery: Our delivery partners will attempt 3 times before an item is returned back to our warehouse. Please make sure, you add your available phone/mobile number in shipping address while you place an order, this will speed up your delivery process. 

Proof on Delivery: For some delivery locations & for some high value products, Our delivery partner may require a valid ID proof for delivering the good. Please call us if you have any questions.

Returns Policy 
We have a Safe Shoppers returns & exchange policies on most of the items sold on www.smartbaby.in. We will guide you through the process. 

General Returns: We have No Questions Asked 30 day, 100% acceptance policy on NEW - UNOPENED items. 10% restocking fee for products that are returned in the original, undamaged package and in resaleable-as-new condition. Packages must be returned complete, including free items. 

Money Refund: If the payment was by Credit Card / NetBanking / Debit Card, we will refund your Credit Card / NetBanking / Debit Card account respectively. 

If the payment was by Cash On Delivery / Cash Before Delivery, we will refund your money via a cheque written in your name. You will have to provide the following details: 

Exchanges: Exchanges may be made without incurring a restocking fee as long as no refund is necessary. Unless we made a mistake with your order, you are responsible for return or exchange shipping charges. Your order number is required for all returns. 

Gift Returns: All the above policies apply to products purchased or delivered as Gifts. 

Cancellations: Orders cancelled before the shipping is made are eligible for 100% acceptance policy. If shipping is in progress, a 10% restocking fee may applicable. If the shipment had already reached the designation, the item should be returned in order to process cancellations & one way Shipping charges are paid by you. 

Warranty
Smart Baby will stand behind the workmanship and materials in a properly cared for product for one year from the date of purchase. The Smart Baby Warranty covers all components of our products including the snaps, lining, hook & loop closures, elastic and waterproofing. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the products only. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is required. 
We charge a small processing fee for the warranty return to cover for the Excise duty paid by us to bring the product to India.

To make a warranty claim, product must be sent at customer's expense to the Smart Baby wareouse for examination of workmanship and materials. After reviewing your diapers, we may replace the diaper or provide you with simple instructions for resolving the problem you are having. 
Except when caused by manufacturing or component defect, this guarantee does not cover leaking, diaper odor or normal wear/tear. Warranty is void when: 
  • The washing instructions have not been followed.
  • The diaper has been altered.
  • Any of the following has been used in conjunction with the use/care of the product:
    • Water temperatures exceeding 100F or 40C
    • A detergent containing additives (enzymes, brighteners, whiteners, dyes, perfumes, essential oils) or natural soap
    • Fabric softeners
    • Any caustic substance
    • Diaper rash cream
